मेरे बहुत पास
मृत्यु का सुवासदेह पर
उस का स्पर्श मधुर ही कहूँगा
उस का स्वर
कानों में भीतर
मगर प्राणों में जीवन की लय तरंगित
और उद्दाम किनारों में
काम के बँधा प्रवाह नाम का
एक दृश्य सुबह का
एक दृश्य शाम का
दोनों में क्षितिज पर
सूरज की लाली
दोनों में धरती पर छाया
घनी और लम्बी इमारतों की
वृक्षों की देहों की
काली दोनों में कतारें
पंछियों की चुप
और चहकती हुई
दोनों में राशीयाँ फूलों
की कम-ज्यादा महकती हुई
दोनों में एक तरह की शान्ति
एक तरह का आवेग
आँखें बन्द प्राण खुले हुए
अस्पष्ट मगर धुले हुऐ
कितने आमन्त्रण
बाहर के भीतर के
कितने अदम्य इरादे
कितने उलझे कितने सादे
अच्छा अनुभव है मृत्यु
मानो हाहाकार नहीं है कलरव है!

The objective of the campaign is to support the victims of the Bhopal Gas Tragedy. The victims still get poisonous water, children are suffering from physical and mental disabilities, men can't work due to serious health issues and there is no one to help. They have now come to the national capital, Delhi to put forward their grievances because waiting for help since the past 30 years has not helped. But, this time they have taken a decision, they will not leave Delhi till their demands are met.
